I work with professionals and adolescents who struggle with stress, anxiety, relationships, work/life balance, self-esteem, challenging childhoods and depression.
My goal is to create a space where you feel heard in a compassionate, non-judgemental way while helping you build on your strengths and overcome current challenges. My therapeutic style is collaborative, client directed and individualized to each person using a range of techniques and approaches (CBT, ACT and mindfulness based practices) in a supportive environment. I focus on helping clients find solutions, understanding, and meaning to reach their personal goals while developing a deeper awareness that encourages you to be your truest, most authentic self.
WHY I LOVE THIS WORK
I am passionate about my role as a therapist, and find it a privilege to support others in bringing a greater sense of meaning and enjoyment to life.
WHAT I WANT FOR YOU
I want to create an environment where you will experience unconditional acceptance and a safe place to share your thoughts and feelings. I understand that each and every one of us are unique individuals; complex and ever-changing. My hope for you is that over the course of therapy, you will feel more confident in yourself, your decisions and build healthy coping skills.
MY SPECIALTIES, BACKGROUND, AND PERSONAL INTERESTS
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are looking for support to help them navigate their life decisions. I have helped children, teens, parents and adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, interpersonal and self-esteem challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors and baking.
