Yoga for Sleep workshop at the Pad.
Sleep is crucial to health and emotional wellbeing. But if you’re like many people, you may not be getting enough.
Fortunately, you can achieve better sleep through a combination of healthy habits and yoga. At this workshop, instructor and psychotherapist Julie Lehrman will guide you through a series of restorative yoga poses. Psychologist Dr. Jonathan Horowitz will discuss common sleep problems and provide specific strategies for better, more restful sleep.
This workshop is open to individuals of all background and ages. No yoga experience is necessary.
Julia Lehrman, LMSW, RYT is a psychotherapist and yoga instructor. She uses yoga and meditation in conjunction with therapy to help people find greater health, happiness, and success.
Jonathan Horowitz, PhD is a clinical psychologist and the Director of the SF Stress and Anxiety Center. He specializes in helping adults manage stress and improve their relationships, so that they can achieve more balance and vitality.
